Basics

Elite Creatures are boosted monsters that can appear in-game on Treasura.

You can recognize them by their animated colored shader and the yellow stars displayed under their name.

They come in different archetypes and have three difficulty levels. Depending on their level, they have increased stats, experience, loot chances and extra loot.

You can also extract an Elite Soul from them.

Spawn/Despawn

On every normal monster spawn, there is a certain chance that it may spawn as an Elite Creature instead.

The stronger the monster, the higher the chance for an Elite Creature to spawn.

Only monsters with 5 experience or more can become Elite Creatures.

After 30 minutes from spawning, an Elite Creature will despawn if it is not in combat.

If combat starts during the last minute before despawn, the despawn timer will be extended by 2 minutes but only once.

1 star Elite Creatures have a higher spawn chance than 3 star Elite Creatures.

Difficulty Levels

Elite Creatures have three difficulty levels, from 1 to 3 stars.

Each difficulty level increases the creature's base loot, experience and overall statistics, making higher-star Elite Creatures more rewarding, but also more dangerous.

Low Elite Creature

  • Base Loot: x1.5
  • Exp: x1.5
  • Stats: Low increased statistics

Medium Elite Creature

  • Base Loot: x2
  • Exp: x2
  • Stats: Medium increased statistics

Hard Elite Creature

  • Base Loot: x3
  • Exp: x3
  • Stats: High increased statistics

Special Abilities:

  • Do not run on low health
  • Can see invisible
  • Can push items
  • Can't be convinced

Archetypes

Elite Creatures have all their base statistics increased but they also have four archetypes which define what they specialize in.

Specialization means that the creature is stronger in specific statistics related to its archetype.

Each archetype can be recognized by its shader color.

Shader Color:

  • Red

Specialization:

  • High melee damage
  • Low spells damage
  • Low arm/def increase
  • Medium health increase
  • Low speed increase

Shader Color:

  • Green

Specialization:

  • Very low melee damage
  • Very low spells damage
  • High arm/def increase
  • High health increase
  • Low speed increase

Shader Color:

  • Blue

Specialization:

  • Very low melee damage
  • High spells damage
  • High cast chance increase
  • Very low arm/def increase
  • Very low health increase
  • Low speed increase

Shader Color:

  • Black

Specialization:

  • Medium melee damage
  • Very low spells damage
  • Very low arm/def increase
  • Very low health increase
  • High speed increase
  • High change target increase

Extra Loot

Every Elite Creature can drop additional loot.

The stronger the monster is, the higher the chance to receive extra loot.

Life Ore: Restore 25 - 75 health on use

Mana Ore: Restore 25 - 75 mana on use

Enchanting Rune: Used to enchant items with attributes

Elite Enchanting Rune: Used to enchant items with attributes with 50% more chance

Cleanse Rune: Used to disenchant all attributes from items with 100% chance

Elite Soul: 5 of them are needed to buy 1 Cleanse Rune, 25 of them for Enchanting Rune & 60 for Elite Enchanting Rune

1-2 Platinum Coins: Some extra cash for supplies

Elite Souls

Elite Souls are required to buy Cleanse Runes.

They can also be traded for Enchanting Rune (25 Elite Souls) & for Elite Enchanting Rune (60 Elite Souls) via NPC Eremo.

They can be dropped directly from Elite Creatures or extracted from their corpses.

After an Elite Creature dies, its corpse keeps the soul for 5 minutes. During this time, you can try to extract the Elite Soul using a Soul Knife.

Soul Knife

Soul Knife is an Obsidian Knife filled with condensed spiritual power useful for tanners and to extract Elite Souls from Elite Creatures corpses.
